"The first sip of this coffee took me back to my days in the Dominican Republic, sitting on my porch watching the sunrise over the ocean. Which is quite impressive as I've never been to the DR. I expected a polite little cup of coffee. What I got was a polite little cup of coffee with opinions. I brewed this as a drip brew, it came out clean and easy-drinking, with the low acidity and sweet, well-rounded flavor other reviews mention. Nothing sharp, just quiet sweetness in the background with a smooth, satisfying finish. The surprise was the body. I braced for something thin, "mild" style, and instead got real weight in the cup - not heavy or overbearing, just a little reminder from my cup saying "yes, I'm actually coffee and not tea". Bottom line: Easygoing, low-acid, and smoother than its "mild" label suggests, with more body than expected."
