USDA Organic Dark Mexican Coffee: Bold Depth Meets High-Altitude Sweetness
Experience a daring transformation of a classic origin. Our USDA Organic Dark Mexican Coffee takes the traditionally mild, smooth reputation of Mexican beans and elevates them through a masterful dark roast. If you crave a cup that balances smoky intensity with a velvety, sweet body, this is your new morning ritual.
The Flavor Profile: Deep, Dark, and Nutty
While most Mexican coffees are prized for their light delicacy, we’ve pushed these beans further to unlock a hidden complexity.
The Roast: Deep and smoky, providing a bold punch without the bitterness.
The Body: Rich and syrupy, maintaining a natural sweetness that lingers on the palate.
The Finish: A smooth, distinct nutty cashew finish that rounds out the moderate acidity.
It’s the perfect choice for the coffee lover who demands the brightness of a high-altitude bean but refuses to compromise on strength and character.
Why Choose Our Organic Mexican Dark Roast?
Competes with the World’s Best Grown in high-altitude regions, this coffee boasts a profile that rivals the most distinguished Strictly High Grown (SHG) Guatemalan coffees. It offers the same refined acidity but with a unique, rustic charm found only in the Mexican highlands.

Best Coffee that I've Swallowed
"I was preparing myself for the usual let down. Coffee companies are full of hype and no taster. Was I surprised! From low expectations to actually drinking a shot which triggered my taste buds into screaming for more. I have given samples of the Organic Mexican Dark Roast to two people. One has already ordered two different types."

Good Coffee but boldness not as described
"I bought this and a bag of the black knight. Both are dark roast and the Mexican is described as "extra bold". I found the dark knight to be much more bold than the Mexican. Would describe the Mexican as medium-bold. That said if you are looking for a smooth less bold coffee this fits nicely but just wasn't what I was looking for."

Delightful Mexican Dark Roast
"Huge fan of the Organic Mexican and thought I’d try the dark roast and it did not disappoint! Full body, full flavor, great alone of mixed with the lighter roast. Love these coffees!"

Micotoxin free
"It's not the best coffee I've ever had, but it's micotoxin and mold free, so I am very happy about that."

Excellent
"Coffee has a nice aroma especially after grinding. There is light oil on the beans so grinding took a bit longer but not an issue. Smooth with great flavor and very good aftertaste that makes you want more. On of my daily drinkers at this point. Highly recommend."

Best Coffee option
"This has been the best find ever. We’ve tried a few different roasts and have concluded there is no better option on the market for freshness, flavor, or price. We make cold brew every single day (and sometimes hot) and we will look no further."

Wow great extra bold coffee
"Great extra bold and dark coffee."

It’s a keeper!
"It was as described on the label…bold bodied…but not bitter or burnt tasting. I drink my coffee black so I appreciate that. On another note, I am happy that you offer sample sizes of your coffee varieties as it gives me a chance to try something I normally might not do if I needed to buy an entire bag full."

Great dark roast whole bean
"Great dark roast whole bean coffee, Great what impresses me is that it’s been tested for mold and when you order, they roasted that day or the next day and ship it out to you that’s pretty impressive I believe that’s about the freshest you can get or you can buy it sitting on the shelves of a store. That’s been there for months and months when you order coffee from them it’s fresh."

Q&A
Hi, is this oily?
Hello! "Oily" is a factor of the bean, the roast, and the age. Dark roast coffees generally will express oil (and express it more quickly) than light roast coffees but any coffee can express some oil over time - and some types will express more than others! As Dark Mexican is a dark roast, it will have a more oily sheen. Team FRC
Which grid do I want for a reusable Keurig pod?
Great question! For a reusable coffee pod in a Keurig (K-Cup) brewer, we recommend using a medium (also known as drip or auto-drip) grind.
