Our Kenya AA Nyeri Ichamara coffee has less of an acidic "bite" than other African coffees, allowing those who prefer lower levels of coffee acidity to experience the dynamic wine-like brilliance, fragrant fruit notes, and silky body of our Kenya AA coffee.

The Gikaru Farmer's Cooperative Society is is located further south than where most Kenyan coffees from Nyeri district originate, and is responsible for managing the five small regional factories.
A factory is the Kenyan term for a wet mill that serves a distinct micro-region. Ichamara, a community in Kenya's Central Province, is the location of one of five "factories" that form the Gikaru Farmers Cooperative Society.
Our Kenya AA Nyeri Ichamara coffee is sourced from family-owned farms in the Nyeri region and is processed by Gikaru's Ichamara Factory. These particular Kenyan coffee beans are grown between the the eastern Aberdare mountain range and western slopes of Mt. Kenya.
