An Excellent Evening Choice
"Great coffee all around, however the Mexican variety was a little too mild, with less flavor notes and more hot brown water notes. To me, the Peruvian drinks best. Unfortunately, at my age, full caf coffee disagrees with my sleep if I have more than one cup after 5pm, and the curse of one who loves perfect, unadulterated, pure black brewed coffee is a craving for it, often at times of the day that prove detrimental to good sleep. This half caf does the trick, especially if I brew it a slight bit stronger, 1-2 grams more beans over spec. I can drink 2-3 cups and still get decent sleep. Going forward I will explore more half caf and full decaf options but would order this again if no other options satisfy."
A good way to achieve variety
"Fresh Roasted Coffee offers a variety of half-caffeinated coffees. They are all good. To keep from getting bored, we rotate through all of them for our morning pot. The bundle helps do that. We just add a pound of Columbian to our subscription, and we have them all. A note to Fresh Roasted Coffee: please bring back the Indian Malabar half-caf."

Mexican/Peru/Sumatra Half-Caf
"I am an occasional cold brew coffee drinker. So I have only tried one of the three pack that I’ve purchased so far. Whole bean so it keeps fresh longer and half caf because I’m caffeine sensitive. Can’t find coffee like this in a grocery store. Great combo!"

"This is the first time I've purchased whole bean half calf from Fresh Roasted & I cannot say emphatically enough how great it is. We've been using their kcups & pre ground for a while now & they're also great & so convenient, but grinding the whole bean at home takes it up another level. The fragrant aroma that filled the kitchen was eye opening. My first thought was, "I've been grinding beans at home for years, but I can't remember the last time I got hit with this lovely fragrance." It speaks to their high quality & freshness.
