Organic Fair Trade Ethiopian Sidamo

Cupping Notes: Blueberry, Creamy, Earthy

Ethiopian Sidamo coffee exhibits gentle earthy nuances with balanced acidity and medium body. The sweet, berry wine-like aroma comes from the drying process as well as the region's natural terroir. This Fair Trade, organic Sidamo is grown in the Kaffa region of the Sidamo province of Ethiopia, where coffee was first cultivated over a thousand years ago. Afficianados of our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe will enjoy a similar profile with even more fruity highlights.

The Sidamo (or Sidama) is located in the Oromia coffee growing region of Southern Ethiopia. Due to the climate and acidic soil in this particular region of Southern Ethiopia, almost all of the coffees trees grown here produce coffee beans with remarkable fruity flavors and are also renown for being some of the most high-quality Ethiopian coffee beans.

The Shoye Cooperative sources green coffee beans from many family owned and operated farms throughout surrounding southern Ethiopia. The Shoye co-op is responsible for producing this amazing organic Ethiopian Sidamo coffee offering. These indigenous heirloom cultivars have gone untouched, allowing you to truly taste coffee from its most ancient beginnings.

Ingredients: Organic 100% Arabica coffee.
