Organic Guatemela Huehuetenango - Classic Coffee Pods

Our Organic Guatemalan coffee is highly regarded for its balanced flavor and velvety smooth body. This medium roast from Huehuetenango features initial notes of milk chocolate that gracefully transition into a sweet orange finish. The mild, citrusy acidity perfectly complements the flavor profile, creating an absolutely delectable cup.

ASOBAGRI or The Asociacion Barillense de Agricultores was founded in 1989 by twenty Mayan coffee and cardamom farmers. It currently has more than 1,200 cooperative members. The members of ASOBAGRI are from approximately 30 small villages in the Huehuetenango region, surrounded by the Cuchumantanes Mountains and the Maxbal Forest Reserve. The region's co-op is dedicated to helping farmers learn and utilize methods of sustainable agricultural, production and organic farming, which serves to preserve and enhance the flavor of this already spectacular coffee.
