This Fair Trade, USDA Organic green coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia has a bright, citrusy acidity. We recommend a light to medium roast to preserve its delicate flavor notes. A darker roast would overpower these unique characteristics.


The cooperative that produces this exceptional Yirgacheffe was founded in 2012 and helps farmers in the area maintain a sustainable life. All 177 members help to produce the high-quality coffees that thrive in the region.

A Standard in the Rotation

"Sometimes I forget how good this coffee is until I get it again. Truly one of the greats. I am not a guy who gets terribly specific with the flavor notes of coffees. I'm much more "this one's good" or "this one's not good. " But Yirgacheffe has this light chocolate taste at the end that is so good. I dislike flavored coffees; it's not like that. Don't over-roast it and you'll see."
