Every sip is a perfectly balanced cup featuring creamy dark chocolate and walnut notes, with a smooth finish and balanced acidity.

This isn't just coffee; it's your go-to cup for late-night enjoyment, ensuring you don't have to compromise on quality for a caffeine-free life.

The Natural Decaf Difference: Sugarcane* EA Process

What makes this decaf so good? It's the unique and natural Sugarcane Decaf process (also known as EA Decaf or Natural Decaf).

While many decaf methods use harsh chemicals, our Colombian beans are decaffeinated using a naturally occurring compound called ethyl acetate, derived from fermented sugarcane. This gentle process imparts a subtle, pleasing sweetness and preserves the bean's authentic flavor profile. The result is a cleaner, sweeter, and more aromatic decaf that you can feel great about drinking.

Ingredients: 100% Arabica coffee. OU Kosher certified. Produced in an SQF-certified, renewable energy-powered facility.

At Fresh Roasted Coffee, we're pioneering the future of coffee. Our advanced, eco-friendly roasters unlock superior flavor in every bean while consuming less fuel and producing fewer emissions. As of 2024, we've taken our commitment a step further. The launch of our new solar array positions us as one of the cleanest commercial roasters in the nation, proving that the most delicious coffee can also be the most sustainable.

Excellent Decaf for Every Occassion

"The whole bean Decaf Colombian - Roasted Coffee never lets us down. Always smooth and full flavored, with enough body to hold up to milk or cream. This was originally the Sugar Cane process decaf, but it was renamed. Still the same delicious coffee"

Robb S. (5/5)

Tastes like the real thing!

"These Colombian beans are decaffeinated using the Sugarcane EA process, which uses a byproduct of sugarcane fermentation, but is still much more a natural process than traditional chemical decaffeination. I had been purchasing the water process decaffeinated Columbian beans, but this process produces a decaffeinated coffee that tastes like the real thing. I prefer it to the water process decaffeinated coffee."

Eugene Y. (5/5)

Best Decaf Colombian

"This is one of my favorite decaf coffees - it has a nice full flavor, and not of the weird after taste that some decaf gives me. This is a staple in our house and has been for quite awhile."

Ani K. (5/5)

Great decaf coffee

"Great taste, the sense of strength and beautiful aroma! The only question I have which decaffeinating process is better: this one, or water based decaffeinating."

Igor A. (5/5)

A new favorite Colombian cup of coffee!!

"This coffee was super and I mean a great cup for the morning or any time of the day. It has a smooth - complex note of flavors and it is my new go to coffee! Very nice indeed. ."

Claude R. (5/5)

Finally Decaf Beans Without Chemicals!

"Having a non chemical process decaf coffee bean is so special. I'm so grateful for Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC giving us this option."

Blake H. (5/5)

Excellent decaf choice!

"I love that I can get decaf whole bean coffee that actually tastes good. It has a robust flavor without any bitterness or overly toasted flavors. I use it in my automatic espresso machine and it makes good drinks and isn’t too oily, which can cause issues for some machines."

Rachel J. (5/5)

Great for night time

"Now that I’m over 60 it is better if I have a decaf coffee at night and this hits the spot perfectly"

Shelly D. (5/5)

Excellent!

"Somewhat expensive."

James L. (5/5)

Love this coffee!

"As a coffee nut - I usually roast my beans - this is my favorite. It's definitely a great decaf. My wife started us on pods for convenience and I've fallen victim. Most of the time I'm too busy working and revert to pods. It ain't half bad. . . well, if I'm to be real, I actually enjoy the pods brewed at the minimum water volume. Ok, I love it! PS I recently tried various forms of Sumatran, which used to be my favorite and I'm sticking with the Columbian."

Q&A

Hello - does this coffee use methylene chloride in the decaffeination process?
Hello, Yes, the standard Colombian Decaf is our only coffee that uses the chemical method with methylene chloride. Our other decafs use various water processes to ensure the caffeine is removed via a chemical-free process. Thank you, Team FRC
What method is used to decaffeinate this blend? I noticed you have a Decaf and a Swiss Water Decaf in the Colombian coffee.
Hello! This is our only traditionally de-caffeinated coffee which uses a chemical method. All other offerings use some kind of water decaffeination process. Team FRC
