Ginger Root
What's Inside?
Ginger Root - Botanical Tea Bags
Ginger Root, Zingiber officinale, is a zesty spice commonly cultivated around the equator. Ginger root is commonly used as a culinary spice for its aromatic and warming properties and has been utilized as such for thousands of years. It’s similar to both turmeric and cardamom, which are part of the same family, Zingiberaceae.
There’s a reason why everyone suggests ginger ale for an upset stomach. While sugary soda with very little real ginger in it might not be the true best call, actual ginger is commonly used to help support digestion and relieve mild upset stomach and nausea. We suggest using our dried Ginger Root for teas and herbal infusions and it can also be used in cooking.
