Reviews

I love my cup of coffee every time.

"This coffee gives me the strong coffee flavor that I love without the bitterness. I have every type of coffee maker and whichever one I use or whatever grind I grind the beans to, I have a great cup of coffee, with a fresh roasted, fresh ground flavor, that never bites me back. I love this coffee."

Great All Purpose Roast

"For those who prefer medium roast versus dark for espresso this works well. It also makes a nice cup of drip/pour-over for the days we prefer a medium roast cup instead of the usual light roast."

Q&A

Are these arabica?
This Colombian selection is 100% Arabica.
exactly how fresh is it. like if i would order today, how long would it have been since it was roasted. i guess my question is… do you wait till you have an order to roast it?
We love it when people ask this question! The short answer is YES, it's really Fresh Roasted! The long answer is as follows: Orders placed on our site prior to 2:00 PM are roasted that night and shipped the next day (except on weekends because everybody needs a break!) We do have to roast ahead for coffee pods because packing them too soon after roasting will make explode as the coffee degasses.
Please explain the difference between the "organic" colombian and the colombian supremo coffee's. I would prefer the one that has the least acidic quality and least oily beans. Thank you. Matt.
Hello, both of these Colombian beans are a Medium roast with a Bold Body, and feature a bit of oils. Both also contain a moderate amount of acidity. The main difference would be that the Organic Colombian is sourced from an organic farm in that region, whereas the Colombian Supremo is not. And the tasting notes are a bit different as well. Thank you, Team FRC
Do you have any coffees that claim to be less acidic?
Hi there! If you're looking for coffees with lower acid, look to the Indo-Pacific region - India, Sumatra, Java, Timor, Flores, and Papua New Guinea. These coffees are naturally less acidic than those coffees from other regions. You can also look for medium-dark or dark roasts as they will be less acidic than medium or light roasts. Dark roasted Indo-Pacifics will be lowest of all! Hope this helps! TeamFRC
