This unique, high quality green tea is hand-rolled into tiny spheres, known as pearl tea to the Chinese. When brewed, these pearls unfold into a flavorful, dark green beverage, which is most commonly enjoyed with a meal.

I got this just the other day and have brewed some tea and also used it to make green tea ice cream. It's got a great pungent smell and the taste is excellent. With the quality and the price you can't go wrong with this.

If you liked the dinos that grew when you left them in water, you'll love this. Gunpowder tea is rolled up into tiny packets of taste and relaxation. For adults, this is near as good as it gets. To prepare, I microwave water until it's boiling. I throw in two tablespoons of tea, and stir. I use a bamboo stick to stir because I'm paranoid about heavy metals, and I only drink tea out of a glass mug. I know, it's eccentric. Or neurotic. Anyway, after stirring for a couple of minutes, you'll notice that the leaves have expanded to ten times their previous size. I haven't done any scholarly research on the subject, but I believe that minimizing the surface area of the leaves while they're still fresh helps retain their original composition. I could be wrong, I don't know for sure. Regardless of the potential benefits as far as substance retention, it's fun to brew this tea.

This tea is fantastic for the price and the large amount. It has a smooth earthy flavor. I recommend a french press as you will want a few mugs. A little goes a long way and you won't regret this purchase!!
