This classic blend of organic black teas has lots of full-bodied flavor and is normally described as a malty brew. Traditionally, this tea is drunk with milk, but can also be enjoyed straight or with lemon.

Black tea is the most flavorful of all the tea types; it is allowed to fully ferment before it is dried and undergoes the strongest oxidation process making it much stronger than the other less-oxidized teas.

Steep Time: 3 Minutes at 212 degrees F

My husband and I have been drinking Irish Breakfast tea daily for years. When our favorite brand was discontinued a couple of years ago, we did a lot of shopping around to find a new tea blend that's reliable and affordable - and this appears to be it! It's quite strong/dark, and malty without being too much so…it's great with a little turbinado, honey or agave and milk/unsweetened soymilk, or just straight half and half. If drinking black, a 3-min steep is probably plenty:)

If you like a good strong black tea this might be the right one for you. My wife and I both enjoy iced tea and this product makes great iced tea. I have a stainless steel ball infuser I use to brew a pot of tea. Let it cool down and then chill in the frig. I have reordered this product more than once as it is very good tasting without any bitterness. Nice dark color. It is our new found favorite.

Mind you, I'm coming off bagged tea, so this is a leap forward for me. My hold up has been finding an easy-to-use tea strainer to insert in a mug, so I can have mug-a-day tea, with little fuss. I located one (on Amazon--FORLIFE Brew-in-Mug Extra-Fine Tea Infuser with Lid) and now enjoy heaping tsp. of this tea steeped for 3 minutes in my mug, with bit of milk added, resulting in satisfyingly rich, but not overpowering tea flavor.

This is a nice mellow black tea. Kind of like the Yunin Black I was getting from the IBX Tea Company and this seems just as nice. I prefer the slightly more robust/bitter coffee taste of a Builders Tea, but enjoy this one in the afternoon and evening. It came in a very big 1 lb bag that was well sealed. The tea seems fresh and smells nice. At $15 it was a great deal.

This was my first excursion into loose leaf tea. Bagged teas that I've had can't compare with the freshness, taste and quality of this loose leaf tea. I'm buying again. What more can I say...
