    Outstanding Yirgacheffe

These beans are small and consistent in size, they roast evenly and beautifully, and the taste is superb. On the light to medium end, there are pleasing notes of blueberry and a very balanced flavor profile (no jarring acidity). My favorite note is something close to green tea, which shows up as long as you don't take things beyond Full City+. I agree with other reviewers that this is quite a versatile bean.

After trying at least 20 different beans, I pick Yirgacheffe as my favorite coffee bean. I roast it myself and found this bean is the most forgiving bean. I try before second crack and after second crack using different timing. Although roasting profile indeed have variation on cupping. However, I like the taste of all of them. Other bean such as Sumatra have acidity that I don't like if under roast a bit.

A suggestion to the packaging based on my recent experience of purchasing them from FRC. I bought two ten pound bags and got the shipment very fast. However, as I tried to cut open the packaging, the 5 pound bag got cut open due to the fact that there's no protection underneath. I suggest that a layer of card board underneath the sealing tape to protect the bean packaging.
