    The seed stock for the Maui Mokka originated in Ethiopia - home of all coffee in the world - and retains several of its Northern African physical characteristics - narrow leaves and small beans. The yield is low and it is difficult to hand pick. For these reasons, this variety of Mokka is not commercially grown anywhere else in the world. It grows best at 500 to 600 feet elevation. Harvest is usually in October through December.

    Fine Ground: At a fine grind, coffee should be soft to the touch – slightly finer than granulated sugar.

    Espresso: Great espresso requires skill, patience and quality equipment. Without these things, and a proper grind, espresso can be thin and weak or over extracted and clog in the portafilter. The perfect grind is essential to reaching espresso nirvana; an intensely rich and creamy extraction with thick crema and well rounded flavor.

    Smells and tastes amazing! No burnt coffee taste and wasn't too strong for me! The medium roast is just right. Great customer service, I ordered the wrong grind for a French press and they fixed it for me no issues!

    MY WIFE WAS WORRIED THIS WAS CHOCOLATE FLAVORED.. NO WAY ! I THIS is an incredibly smooth taking great coffee. Small beans the size of peaberry; the smoothness continues long after the taste is completed. Not quite as bright as some Kona,but perhaps more satisfying all around.
