Long ago in a far and distant land lived a strong and evil Queen. Her name was Robusta, and her bitterness took hold over the entire kingdom. Queen Robusta had a single heir, a daughter named Arabica, who was both bold and beautiful. From birth, Princess Arabica loved the night and took great pleasure in exploring the far reaches of the kingdom after sunset. Queen Robusta detested Arabica for constantly interfering with her precious beauty sleep.

On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, the Queen cursed Arabica by turning her into a great nocturnal owl. She was banished from the kingdom, taking to the skies to plan her revenge. As Arabica soared over the land in the dark of night, a wicked idea stopped her mid-air. She flew to the largest river in the kingdom and transformed the water into rich and fantastic coffee. The next day, as all the townspeople drank and bathed in the river, they were overcome with energy and liveliness. The whole kingdom continued to enjoy the delicious blend and was kept awake until sunrise. Arabica soared with happiness. Queen Robusta never again slept through the night, and her great ugliness forced her from the throne. The Wicked Owl, Princess Arabica took charge of the kingdom and continued to brew coffee until the end of her days. Our Wicked Owl Blend is inspired by the tastiest ever after of all time.
